The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is a private university that has educated talented women and men for leading positions within the business community and public sector since 1909. SSE is ranked by the Financial Times as the no. 1 business school in the Nordic and Baltic region and as one of the best business schools in Europe. SSE offers programs of the highest international standards, including Bachelor, Master, PhD, Executive Format MBA and executive education programs. About 1,800 students are registered in the programs at various levels. The school conducts world-class research; many of the researchers are leading figures in their respective fields. The skills, experiences and relationships I gained at SSE have been fundamental to where I am today. During my final year at SSE I was a Wallenberg International Fellow, which meant that I got to study at Georgetown University and conduct an internship in Washington, D.C. It was the perfect way to develop my interest in the intersection of business and politics and explore different career options.
