From our vantage point in the heart of Asia, the Graduate School of International Relations (GSIR) offers a unique perspective of the world in a lively global setting. Our students come from more than forty countries, covering almost all continents on earth. The students bring their own culture to the IUJ community and are eager to share it with their fellow classmates. The diverse student body creates a unique multi-cultural learning environment for future leaders. The ultimate mission of GSIR is to provide professional education and training to the current and future leaders operating in an increasingly complex and dynamically changing international environment.

The program is intended to provide students with an understanding of a rapidly transforming international environment and the impact upon the Asia Pacific region above all.

Students will be introduced to contemporary political and economic trends and will be equipped with the necessary analytical and professional skills to enhance their prospects for future careers. An excellent Career Counseling and Services office assists students in their job search by providing workshops, resources, introductions and guidance.

The office works closely with companies, international institutions or other agencies to help them find IUJ talent for their employment and summer internship needs.
